Los usuarios de NeoGaf han dado a conocer que Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate parece lucir un par de mejoras visuales en la New 3DS.

 Junto con la mejora de las texturas, el juego también cuenta con mejores sombras y toques de mejorías en los gráficos. También hay un par de otras cosas que se mejoró en New 3DS como la  carga más rápida en el sistema, y ​​el rendimiento general es más suave.
